This certification allows you not only to assist a PADI Course Director<\/b> in instructor training but also to independently conduct the PADI Assistant Instructor course<\/b> and play a key role in shaping the next generation of dive leaders.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

At Sea Spirit Diving Resort<\/b> in Taormina, you\u2019ll have the unique opportunity to train alongside Carmelo Sgroi, PADI Platinum Course Director<\/b>, who has been mentoring dive professionals with passion, experience, and expertise since 2010.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

    Course Structure at Sea Spirit Diving Resort<\/h3>\n\n\n\n

    The course is divided into two main phases:<\/p>\n\n\n\n

    1. IDC Staff Instructor Preparation Module<\/strong>\n
        \n
      • Targeted theory presentations<\/li>\n\n\n\n
      • Exams on dive theory and PADI standards<\/li>\n\n\n\n
      • Practical sessions including knowledge development presentations, confined and open water presentations<\/li>\n\n\n\n
      • Teaching skills development workshops<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<\/li>\n\n\n\n
      • Complete IDC Audit<\/strong>\n

        • Participate as part of the staff throughout the full Instructor Development Course (IDC)<\/b> (14 days)<\/li>\n\n\n\n
        • Observe and evaluate instructor candidate presentations<\/li>\n\n\n\n
        • Coaching under the supervision of the Course Director<\/b><\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<\/li>\n<\/ol>\n\n\n\n

          Approximate total duration: up to 14 days<\/strong>, depending on the IDC schedule.<\/p>\n<\/blockquote>\n\n\n\n

          Participation Requirements<\/h3>\n\n\n\n

          You must:<\/p>\n\n\n\n

          • Be certified as a PADI Master Scuba Diver Trainer (MSDT)<\/b> in active teaching status<\/li>\n\n\n\n
          • Have issued at least 25 PADI certifications<\/b><\/li>\n\n\n\n
          • Hold a current EFR Instructor certification<\/b><\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n
